Summer Feast of the Kindergarten School “Eleni Bellou” in the Holy Metropolis of Corfu
On the afternoon of Monday, June 24, 2019, the summer feast of the Kindergarten School of HM of Corfu “Eleni Bellou” took place. The feastwas dedicated to the summer, while the older children presented a beautiful theatrical tale titled: “The Mooncoverer”.
In her introduction, Mrs. Stavroula Sotiriou, the Director of the School, thanked the Metropolitan of Corfu, Paxoi and Diapontian Islands, Mr. Nektarios, for his love and paternal blessings, since he is the forerunner and visionary of this effort, the importance of today’s proper upbringing of young children at a time of de-Christianization and judgment of values.
His Eminence was represented by Prot. father Themistoklis Mourtzanos,General Prelatic Warden of HM. who also conveyed the cordial wishes of Mr. Nektarios, while at the same time thanking the director, the teachers and the auxiliary staff of the School for their work, as well as the parents for their trust in the local Church.
