Saint Spyridon’s Basmata (re-entrance of the relic to its position)

The worshipping events in Corfu were completed, in memory of the miracle of Saint Spyridon and the liberation of the island from the Agarinees in 1716. On the afternoon of Tuesday, August 13, 2019, Basmata were held, namely, the re-entrance of the relic to its position, with his Eminence, the Bishop of Corfu, Paxoi and Diapontian Islands Mr Nektarios. Previously, the Requesting Prayer to Saint Spyridon was performed.

His Eminence wished the many pilgrims, Saint Spyridon, to protect them and to always cover them.
