Our Bishop visits the local art exhibition

His Eminence the Bishop of Corfu, Paxos and the Diapontian Islands Mr. Nektarios visited at noon on Thursday, October 21, 2021 the Municipal Gallery of Corfu, where an exhibition of paintings by Mr. Takis Metallinos, former vice-mayor and president of Corfu Choir. In the exhibition, the Bishop was guided by the painter himself, who presented to him the 50 paintings that capture snapshots of the old city, the buildings, the kantounia, the squares, the bay of Garitsa, the way Corfu experiences the weather changes, with a dominant element the church of Saint Spyridon. Mr. Nektarios congratulated the artist for his inspirations, which promote the culture of the place and testify to his personal sensitivity.
