Online Priest Meeting in the Holy Metropolis of Corfu

An online hierarchical meeting in view of the great Christmas celebration was held on the afternoon of Friday, December 10, 2021 in Corfu. In this, His Eminence the Bishop of Corfu, Paxos and the Diapontian Islands, Mr. Nektarios, had the opportunity to present spiritual and pastoral reflections on the great feast of the Orthodox faith, as well as to give instructions to the priests on current issues. Mr. Nektarios pointed out the need for the internal renewal of our existence, so that the incarnation of the Lord would function as a new beginning for all, priests and believers, while he asked everyone with great care, respecting the precautionary measures of public health, to assist so that our people can celebrate Christmas with Christ and with the open temples.

The presentation was followed by a dialogue with many questions to His Eminence, while father. Athanasios Kokkinopoulos, who was elected a member of the Board of the Holy Clergy Association of Greece, informed his colleagues about the work of ISKE and the priorities that have been set.
