Event for the national day at the Kindergarten school of the Holy Metropolis of Corfu “Eleni Bellou”
On Thursday morning, October 25, 2018 an event took place for the national day of the 28th of October at the Kindergarten School of the Holy Metropolis of Corfu “Eleni Bellou”. The infants of the school presented an exceptional programme, sung, told poems, presented with their own way the message of patriotism.
His Eminence, the Bishop of Corfu, Mr. Nektarios underlined to the many parents who were there that these children are also children of the Church. He thanked them for trusting their children to the Holy Metropolis and the Kindergarten School and pointed out that in Church, they receive religious education, along with the social one, in a period where faith is taken out of the hearts of the young ones. Moreover, he reminded parents that they all keep in their hearts memories of patriotism and values coming from their participation to such feasts and that eventually Church is the only one that can save these elements in our times.
