BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF THE ACTIVITIES OF YOUTH TEAMS OF POTAMOS PARISH

The responsible of the parish, father Georgios had a meeting with people who form the field of Youth Teams of Potamos Parish. Firstly, he thanked the young people who devote their soul and body to the transmission of spiritual and secular knowledge to children while emphasising on the importance of voluntarily ministry under the current, difficult circumstances where the notion of family trembles and school reformations put religion apart. The latter has created a lot of concerns to thousands of Greek Christian families.

They also created the weekly programme of supportive school teaching lessons, that are provided free of charge for 6th consecutive year to children of Elementary and Junior High School who wish to be helped.

Before the meeting was over, the participants received the blessings of his Eminence our Metropolitan, in written forms.

It is mentioned that the activities will begin on Sunday, the 15th of October at 11.30 a.m. in the Parish Hall of Eleousa Potamou.
