A NEW TEMPLE WILL BE BUILT IN THE NEW HOSPITAL OF CORFU
Signed on the morning of Thursday, July 23, 2020 by His Eminence the Bishop of Corfu, Paxos and the Diapontian Islands Mr. Nektarios and the Commander of the General Hospital of Corfu Mr. L. Roubatis the memorandum of construction and management of a church at the General Hospital in the name of St. Luke, Archbishop of Simferopoli, Crimea, the doctor, which will be built at the expense of the Holy Diocese. The temple will serve the functional needs of the patients and their relatives. Mr. Nektarios stressed that the construction of the church solves a chronic problem, as until now the religious service of the hospital was served in a small space at the entrance of the building. He stressed the preparation that had been done on the previous commander Mr. Karkavitsas and thanked Mr. Roubatis in particular, for the finalization and signing of the agreement.
